Little Village: For little ones birth through kindergarten

We hope to give children a first impression of a loving Heavenly Father in such a way that it creates a lasting impression in the heart of each child.
It takes a village to raise a child.

By the time our kids leave kindergarten, we hope they know without a doubt that:
God made me.
God loves me.
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

The Bible is God’s word and true.

WHAT HAPPENS HERE:
Little Village creates a fun, safe, clean and faith-filled experience for our littlest ones. We connect kids to caring leaders and a consistent group of similar-age friends. Little Village also partners with parents in the spiritual formation of their own children. We use Grow curriculum for Worship Service. Equipping Time uses Simple Bible Stories to allow children to begin hearing God’s Word.

Babies:
We know leaving your baby for the first time may be overwhelming! The serving team members in our nursery rooms have a love for children of this age and look forward to caring for the needs of your child.
  • Please bring diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and any other special items that will help soothe your baby during their time with us.
  • Please label all items with your child’s name.
  • Please fill out the "Infant care form" card at check in to let us know any details regarding feeding and napping schedules.

Crawlers, Walkers and 18-24 months:
This is a fun and busy age! Our classrooms are designed with this in mind. Our serving team members are fun and keep toddlers engaged in active play!
  • Please send extra diapers and an extra change of clothes. Please label all items with your child’s name, including pacifiers, cups, diapers, etc.

All ages:
  • Snacks/Allergies: We provide Gerber puffs/teethers up to 18 months and goldfish crackers & fruit snacks for 18 months - kindergarten. Occasionally we provide other snacks, which will be posted at check-in each week. Please ensure any allergies have been entered in our system and that your child’s small group leaders are made aware. (An allergy alert will also print on your child's identification sticker each week.)
  • Wellness Policy: For the protection of all children, we must decline admission to children with the following symptoms: fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other symptoms of illness. Children must be free of fever for 24 hours before coming to Little Village.

CHECK-IN & SECURITY:
Here are a few of the ways we're committed to making your child's time with us safe and meaningful:
  • Upon check-in, your child is given a numbered security tag and you are given one to match. To pick up your child you will bring your tag, and a leader will match it to your child. If we need to call you out of the service, we will use this number on our main screens or will text you directly.
  • Each of our adult serving team members goes through a criminal background check.
  • Our team leads and church security team members monitor our Little Village area during services.
  • For safety reasons, we ask that you stop at the check in desk to sign in, drop off and pick up your child outside the door to their classroom.

FOLLOW UP AT HOME:
Help the things your kids are learning to really stick! Use these tools to reinforce what your little ones learned during cuddle time, bath time, and play times throughout the rest of the week:
  • Parent take homes explaining what we learned are given out each week in Little Village
  • Follow Little Village on Facebook,
